WGT - Performing

So you want to play at WGT?

• Do you play in or manage a band?

• Are you a DJ?

• For Bands apparently, the method for requesting to perform at the next WGT is to send your Band CV off to the address below, include contact details, band history (how long you have been together, when was your last release, when did you last play in Germany etc), your band website, links to Bandcamp or Soundcloud, links to your facebook page, YouTube videos etc. Good Luck! 

• For DJs apparently, the method for requesting to perform at the next WGT is to send your DJ CV off to the address below, include contact details, example set lists, where you DJ regularly (and maybe any guest slots at other festivals that you have played)

Applications by bands / artists or their agencies are always possible and to be sent directly to the festival organisers. The best way to get in touch is via email to bewerbung@wave-gotik-treffen.de

Due to the large number of applications it might take a long time before you receive a reply.

NOTE:
Every year there are approx. 7,000 bands and 2,000 DJs who send in their CVs to the festival...as you can imagine it takes the organisers some time to get through the list. If you don't get in this year try again next. If you are asked to play at WGT you will be asked to confirm in writing that you will attend and you will hear long before any official band announcements on the official WGT website.
