Haus Leipzig has quite a history with WGT, it has come and gone over the years and there have been some quite vocal views about the venue on forums and social media (mostly relating to the size of the band that plays and the queue of people that cannot get in, in addition it gets extremely hot within the venue, indeed if you have any health issues it is highly recommended that you do not attend this venue due to the heat inside). The venues is set just to the west of the city centre and is a former cultural centre that has a capacity of approx 1500 people, unfortunately there is little in the way of food at the venue.

I would recommend getting to Haus Leipzig early if you want to see a band, indeed it has been said that if you want to see the headliner you need to be at the doors when it opens.
