This magnificent structure, first opened in Leipzig in 1913 as the Grand Hotel is one of the city’s oldest and most venerable hotels. In 1995, the Seaside Group opened its new 4-star, top-class hotel behind this splendid art nouveau facade. The individualised art of living in an art deco style offered at the Par Hotel will make your stay in Leipzig unforgettable.
A special feature of the hotel is the elegant “STEAKTRAIN” restaurant constructed as a replica of a famous train.
Sumptuously furnished rooms with French beds, telephone, minibar, colour TV, desk, room safe, WLAN, ISDN data link, security lock system, soundproof windows and individually adjustable heating so that your room can serve either as a home-away-from- home or as your own personal branch office. Art deco bathrooms with bathtub or shower, blow dryer and a separate toilet are standard in each room.
Especially for our guests planning a longer stay (more than 2 weeks) at our hotel, we offer our extended-stay rooms complete with a small kitchen.

Goth Friendly and an excellent Hotel right opposite the Main Railway station and in the centre of town. Excellent facilities and wonderful rooms. It can get a bit noisy as some rooms are next to the main street, and there can sometimes be a medieval village adjacent to the Hotel that will often fire a very loud cannon. If you can sleep through anything and don't mind not having Air Con then I would highly recommend this hotel. A most excellent themed restaurant with a good selection of food and an excellent Breakfast.
Review by Sadgoth 2003
After four years at the Renaissance hotel I chose to come back to the Seaside Park Hotel for two reasons in 2008. First the Renaissance is over priced for the star level of the hotel, and second more importantly because I felt unwanted there. It seems that the 'Goths' are just an inconvenience to the hotel now, and that staff have to apologise to their business visitors for the intrusion of the festival.
So having stayed in the Seaside Park before in 2002 and 2003 I was more than happy to return when I heard that they had installed Aircon (the reason I moved to the Renaissance after a very hot WGT in 2003). The Seaside Parks hotel staff seemed very pleased that we were staying with them, happy to help and very polite (especially the bar staff). The rooms are very good and the beds and bathroom are great. There is still some noise from outside but that was very faint. Cleaning staff were very quite and we were not disturbed for the five days that we stayed. The all important Aircon system was also very good. On the downside the price is still very high, although over a €100 less than the Renaissance but with breakfast included (I just wish I had the energy to get up for it), so much far better value than the Renaissance. 5 Star Goth service.
I will book the Seaside Park for WGT 2009.
