Very convenient central location, across the street from a major tram stop in the center of Leipzig, where all the trams stop. A block away from the "Moritzbastei" which is where we ended up each night because this club was my favorite of the other ones we've seen in Leipzig. That club is seriously amazing the hotel is also a short walk to Darkflower and just a couple blocks away from the "Hauptbahnhof" train station. The hotel was very nice and fancy, staff are friendly. A nice touch was the fresh apples that were free at the front counter. There is free high speed Internet in the rooms, via an Ethernet port that you can plug into (make sure you have an Ethernet cable, although the hotel may be able to supply one If you ask them). The Internet was a huge plus for me considering I'm an Internet junkie, and wired cable Internet is always way better than wireless, plus i was impressed that it was free. We had a double bed room, everything was pretty new, had a LCD flat screen TV in the room. Also the room was a pretty decent size and had a programmable safe in the closet so you could store your valuables. There was also a mini-fridge which of course was overpriced but you could store a few things in there to keep them cold. No bathtub, just a shower, although this seems to be standard in most European hotel rooms. If you left the "do not disturb" sign on the door the staff did not bother us at all in the morning, and they simply cleaned the rooms when we left which was usually around 3-4pm. The air conditioning also worked nicely, which is something a few of our friends had complaints about at other hotels. Overall i was very pleased with the hotel. Everyone else recommended the renaissance when we were booking, but they had already sold out so we opted for the Radisson. In retrospect, a few of our friends had some complaints about their hotel rooms and they thought the Radisson was a better hotel so we may just try it again next time. There were also quite a few other Goths staying at the hotel as well. My only minor complaint is the bed blankets provided were these huge fluffy down comforters that were literally about 20 centimeters thick, which i guess is extra fancy, but i would wind up waking up all sweaty If i covered myself in the blanket, so just a minor annoyance.

Excellent local transport links, although can be quite noisy if other non WGT events are happening in Augustusplatz.
