Leipzig is a major Conference City, and has many hotels to suit all budgets. The Centre area of Leipzig has approximately 12,000 Hotel
rooms on its own. I have added 50 hotels below, there are many more hotels.

  • How did they treat you when you appeared all 'Gothed' up?
  • Did they let you sleep or did they pester you to clean your room?
  • Was the hotel noisy?
  • Was the hotel worth the money, were you over charged?

HOW FRIENDLY WAS THE HOTEL FROM A GOTH POINT OF VIEW...
Treated you like an Alien, looked down on you, and told you not to come back next year.
Treated you unequally in comparison to other guests, you got dirty looks from staff, and you felt ostracised.
The hotel didn't notice you, staff were polite to you.
Treated you with respect and equal to all other guests even in the restaurant/bar.
Treated you with utmost respect, even with your best goth gear on, hotel went out of its way to make you feel at home.

towards some of the
main venues. All have
excellent public transport

AMBER
Slightly further away than
Green Hotels, closer to
some venues and further
from others. Reasonable
public transport links.

RED
These hotels are quite
some distance from the
centre of Leipzig and all
the venues, however if
you have a car, or you
want somewhere quite or
cheap then go for one of
these. Public transport
links are poor
